After counting the ballots from the last meeting, the following new officers were announced: President Elect, Kathy Winter; Treasurer, John Kangas; Board Member, Connie Thury.
Membership Continuing Education for 2004
- Winter meeting will be held December 8, 2004. We will have a drawing for members who bring a non member (for a shirt) and also a free registration for a non-member.
- CLMA Convention in Chicago is March 5-8, 2005. We will try to get a bus to go.
- ASCLS/CLMA spring meeting is May 4-6, 2005, in Rapid City. Kari will email members (Patty Buus, Winner) to see if there is a volunteer to serve on the planning committee. Twila is already speaking at the meeting. Members of the education committee will be Kathy Winter, Rick Pudwill, and one other member (Carolyn Behrens from Rapid City?)
Breakout Session Questions
We discussed results from the questions at the last meeting and how to implement them. Kari will write to Mark Toboll to find a cost for the changes. We want to switch the “what’s new” information to the left side of the page and make the vision statement the main focus of the page. Also add a paragraph about who we are.
Members are interested in an auto email/link directly to the website to add continuing education to our calendar. Also we are interested in adding a new page called “Career Recruitment”. We have about five items to add under this caption. We will present the cost for the changes after we receive them from Mark.
Adjourned at 4:30 p.m.
Karen Jepperson, Secretary
